Located on Bagshot Row™, these Hobbit Holes offer an authentic glimpse into the charming dwellings of Hobbits going about their daily lives in the Shire™.

Stop in at the Green Dragon Inn and enjoy a complimentary beverage from the Southfarthing range, before following your guide to the Party Marquee. Enjoy a buffet-style lunch inside the Party Marquee, adjacent to The Green Dragon Inn. With themed tables, bursting with hobbit fare, dine family style with your group to conclude your Middle-earth adventure.

You will be dropped back in Rotorua around 2.30pm, where you will have an hour to relax, rest your feet and charge your phone/camera before the Te Puia shuttle comes to collect you around 3.30pm.

The Te Pō Indigenous Experience begins with a mouth-watering buffet at the Pātaka Kai Restaurant, Bar, and Cafe. With locally sourced cuisine and an authentic Māori twist in each dish, the buffet is guaranteed to be a highlight of the evening. Following this, you will be led to view an exhilarating cultural performance that takes place in the beautifully carved meeting house, Te Aronui a Rua. It will include a Pōhiri (Traditional Māori Welcome), Waiata (Song), Mōteatea (traditional chant), Poi, and Haka.

Afterward, enter the geothermal valley on the waka (electric shuttle) and discover one of New Zealand’s most magnificent geothermal wonderlands – featuring dramatic geysers, bubbling mud, and beautiful native bush. Enjoy a hot chocolate, seated on a naturally heated rock terrace overlooking the powerful Pōhutu Geyser. After a wonderful evening at Te Puia, you will be dropped back at your hotel.
